We've had quite an exciting week (for us). I'm officially one year older than I was last year, and Mum made a yummy cake as usual. We were over in Liverpool last weekend exploring dodgy canalside paths and enjoying Lewis's pancakes. Philip has been on the train twice this week - once to return from the walk and again yesterday to go into my work. I went in to discuss my return which now looks set at about 2.5 days per week from the 1st May. I'll get a formal contract soon, and it'll all be reviewed again 6 months down the line to see how it's working for both parties. Seems like there's plenty of work on though which is good all round.

Philip is ridiculously close to rolling - but he's been looking like it could happen anytime from last Tuesday so we'll see. He's currently practising on his playmat whilst trying to eat his blanket and making strange noises I think I'll define as singing! He's had his first swimming lesson today which went pretty well. I went swimming first and then it was quite good excercise moving him around the pool. I've drunk nearly 3 pints (non alcoholic) since our return home! We didn't do anything spectacular but he didn't get upset which seemed good news from my perspective. Next week maybe we'll get him to kick!

  • It was lovely to see the little person in real life yesterday after all the photos on the blog. Lots of smiles (from Philip)despite being at a SAGGA Committee meeting!
But who was a younger visitor at a SAGGA Committee meeting Alex or Philip?
