It's half term, and we've been doing the usual half term activities - shopping at Ikea, planning house improvements, fiddling on the computer - but with the added twist of Philip being in attendance. Ikea was too busy as it always is in school holidays, but I must say their baby change facilities are lovely. I carried Philip round for a bit on the sling and got various comments - Ed said he loooked like an alien child as you could only see his head. He loved it - so much to look at!

The second swimming lesson saw lots more concentration on the bright floating animals they scatter around the pool, a bit of kicking and plenty of trying to drink the swimming pool water. Then when he did get a good mouthful he wasn't really so impressed.

We're getting lots more gurgles and more reliable sleep (albeit with a settled 2.30am wake up this last week) but no rolling as yet. It's amazing how far he can get his lower half without flipping right over.

  • Me too I have caught it, might even be counted as broodiness (just don't tell Tim). I will put some pictures from pancakes on flicka.
